I’m manually building this Catalogue of blocks. I’m finding it rather slow, especially when using my iPad.

Yesterday, to help speed things up, I implemented some PHP code to define a template for a new instance of the block Custom Post Type.

Now, when I add a new block the structure is already there. I still have to complete all the sections. But it’s a lot easier than having to construct each post from scratch.

There are still many challenges…

• Having to repeat everything multiple times; WordPress SEO and meta data.
• Unexpected / unwanted behaviour; especially when using an iPad. Things get in the way, you can’t see what you want to work on. Positioning the cursor is hit and miss.
• Boredom. It’s the same set of blocks over and over.

But, I will learn something. And I hope you will too.
