Post Comment

Use the Post Comment block in your content or an FSE template to display a comment to a post.




  • The Post Comment block is just one of the blocks associated with Comments and Full Site Editing.
  • It’s not clear where you find the comment ID.
  • I tried entering a comment ID from a comment on another post.
  • It didn’t display anything.
  • When I added the Post Comments Form block I was told two things:
    1. Post Comments Form block: comments are not enabled for this post type.
    2. Post Comments Form block: comments to this post are not allowed.
  • So I enabled Comments on the block and block example post types and allowed comments on this particular post.
  • This enabled me to write the comment which is displayed above.

Unrelated comment

The following comment is not related to this post, I was able to include it by typing the comment ID ( 112 in the original environment ).
